Personal Philosophy on using technology in the classroom

My Philosophy on using technology in the classroom
"The principle goal of education is to create men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done."~ Jean Piaget
My philosophy is, "Every child is unique in his/her own way and as a result I  believe that the inclusion of Educational Technology within the classroom is one of the most valuable assets a young child can attain, especially in my specialized area of Early Childhood Education. Therefore as an educator in training it is my responsibility to keep abreast with the use of technology.  I believe that every child has the potential to carry out any task given; therefore, I plan to not only learn from the experience of current professionals, but also to keep up on new innovations and incorporate them in my classroom, so that  I can steer my students in the right direction as technology evolves with the use of its amazing features that can help to make my lessons realistic, as it is important in the Early Childhood field to make the classroom environment comfortable and encouraging.
I take pride and joy in seeing boys and girls make their own discoveries. I believe children need to explore what technology has in store and experience how it can improve their lives educational and socially. I believe that students should be taught how to and with the use emails, creative computer programs, PowerPoint, movie maker, along with other computer programs. As an educator in training I believe these programs will help students to posit creativity and problem solving skills to carry out activities given, where they can be independent individuals and exhibit competence in the classroom.  There are so many opportunities available at the fingertips and I plan to put them to use to become an effective and efficient teacher.
As a future educator, I will continue to increase my knowledge about technology and keep current with new innovations in order to provide the most successful learning environment for my students.  No matter what my content area is, I will integrate technology in my classroom in order to provide my students with a 21st century education.
